Syndrome:  Cellulitis, mild

Primary Therapy(s):

  • Dicloxacillin 500 mg po qid
  • Cephalexin 500 mg po qid

Alternate Therapy(s):

  • Clindamycin

Comments: Suspect MRSA if purulent skin disease is present - see MRSA algorithms.
